- Thermoelectrically important thin films and bulks, Electrical and magnetic properties of thin films etc.
- Synthesis of Multiferroic Compounds and its property studies.
- Growth of rare earth doped crystals, Mixed Crystals, Non-linear crystals. Growth characterization and property studies of different Magnetically important crystalline rare earth compounds. Optically important property-modified alkali halide crystals grown by Czochralski technique.
- Growth of Inorganic and organic crystals.
- Fabrication of Nanocrystalline Photo Voltaic films, TCO, Nano Carbon Powders, Multiferroic Materials, Nano materials etc.
- Natural polymers Characterisation and electric Property Studies
- Polymer composites and their electric behavior
- Magneto thermoelectric materials
- Triboelectricity and materials
