  •  Thermoelectrically important thin films and bulks, Electrical and magnetic properties of thin films etc.
  • Synthesis of Multiferroic Compounds and their property studies.
  • Growth of rare earth doped crystals, Mixed Crystals, and Non-linear crystals. Growth characterization and property studies of different magnetically important crystalline rare earth compounds. Optically important property-modified alkali halide crystals grown by the Czochralski technique.
  • Growth of Inorganic and organic crystals.
  • Fabrication of Nanocrystalline Photo Voltaic films, TCO, Nano Carbon Powders, Multiferroic Materials, Nano materials, etc.
  • Natural polymers Characterisation and  electric Property Studies
  • Polymer composites and their electric behavior
  • Magneto-thermoelectric materials
  • Triboelectricity and materials
